IV Hydration for Your Sport

Jupiter is an active town, and the heat and humidity make hydration a big part of training. Here’s how athletes in each sport fit an IV into their schedule.

Golf

18 holes in South Florida sun can mean four-plus hours of sweating. Golfers book Recalibrate the evening after a round or before a tournament weekend.

Tennis & pickleball

Back-to-back matches and long clinics on hot courts. Players come in after a tournament day or a heavy week of play.

Running & triathlon

Long training runs, rides and swims add up in the humidity. Runners and triathletes book on a rest day during a big training block. Check the drug-testing note below before race day.

Fishing & boating

Sunrise to sunset on the water, with sun, wind and salt. Anglers and boaters stop in after a long day offshore or a tournament.

Gym & CrossFit

Hard sessions in hot gyms and outdoor workouts. Regulars add an IV to their week alongside water, food and sleep.

Surfing & paddle

Long sessions at Jupiter Inlet, Juno or Tequesta. Surfers and paddleboarders come in after a dawn patrol or a long day out.

Competing in a drug-tested sport? Under WADA and USADA rules, IV infusions or injections of more than 100 mL in any 12-hour period are prohibited for tested athletes, except when received during hospital treatment, surgical procedures or clinical diagnostic investigations. Most IV drips are larger than 100 mL. If you are a tested athlete (for example in NCAA, Olympic-pathway, pro or sanctioned events), check with your sport’s governing body or apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption before booking.
